Finished watching the movie around 3:44am this morning.
And I was soaked in tears.
Right now my eyes are swollen, bulging eyebags and my head hurts a bit.
I came across the movie while I was watching episodes of Witch Yoo Hee, a korean drama, and at the end of one ep a video flashed called Sky Of Love and the cover got m attention because of the white haired guy in it. I thought at first that it was a live action since the guy has anime styled as in anime style hairdo. But then after some researches when I got to finish the movie in awful lot of tears,it turns out that
IT'S A BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE IN JAPAN!! realeased March 6 of this year.
My tears started flowing I think about half-way through till the end of the movie that's why I soon i I ran out of tears,
as in tuyong iyak mga dude.
I was blabbing about this to Kej (who I talked with till 5:40am,the sun is rising at this time) while watching it. I can't help it, he is the only one I'm talking to.

(Sorry Kej.. )

Published ReviewSynopsis:
The cell-phone novel that moved 11 million to tears
Uploaded to a cell-phone website, this tale of an average girl’s three stormy years of high school, a saga of love, rape, pregnancy, miscarriage, parting, and reunion, is in fact a true story. Striking a chord with many women, its popularity spread like wildfire by word of mouth, and published in book form was an instant best-seller, with 1.3 million copies snapped up in only three weeks. The work is a true phenomenon of the emerging cell-phone society.
Movie Review:
This is one of those Japanese movies belonging to the high-school-boy-meets-girl-with-terminal-illness-or-vice-versa-and-one-of-them-dies genre. Predecessors include Love Letter from a long time back, Crying Out Love in the Center of the World and Nada Sou Sou of recent memory. Make no mistake: the Japanese audience knows who dies after the first scene, but each of the aforementioned movie top-grossed in the country. Now that's really top-gross.
The selling points for each movie is basically the same. Find the most popular, most photogenic and most crybaby almost-teen starlets; put them in the movie, and watch one of them die while the other cries. Prettily. For the boys out there, the deck is stacked heavily against us. In about 80% of movies from this genre, the high-school dude dies. That's quite sad, for the high school girls are all wide-eyed cute little things that boys won't mind spending more time with.
That said, if you have the tenacity to endure the cheesy lovey-dovey lines and you like a clean colourful bright sunshine palate for cinematography, these Japanese flicks are cute date fodder. Each movie has a unique selling point, and Sky of Love promises a whole boatload of unique selling points. Rape, miscarriage and a white-haired dragonboy. This also happens to be a cellphone novel and a true story.
Acting-wise, the teens tried their best to emote, but there simply wasn't enough script for them to act upon, and the director fell into the very bad habit of fleshing-out characters like two-dimensional manga inhabitants.
The female lead was raped with 3 men watching and recording the ordeal, but she recovered in two full minutes of screen time to continue making moon-eyes at dragonboy. Skinny dragonboy beat up four punks easily. They had sex in the school library! Nobody reads books in Japan apparently; they read cell-phone novels. The movie was based on a true story, but it was completely unbelievable.
There are better characterizations in manga.

After seeing audition for the junior fashion magazine nicola, Yui applie and won the Grand Prix award for the audition. After that, she became a nicomo (nicola model) and because of her fashion sense and logical personality, gained many fan. In 2004 she put her modeling in nicola on hold to expand her current career into gravure, appearing on variety shows, and acting. In 2005 she officially graduated from the magazine. The same year, she was in the TBS drama Dragon Zakura. This began her entrance into the acting world and she has gone on to appear in other shows since. Even though she has graduated from nicola, she still appears in the magazine occasionally.
2006 marked the release of her first photobook, Chura Chura, which is regional dialect for something that is beautiful.
Currently, Aragaki holds the record for most covers of nicola at 15 covers.
She constantly appears in TV commercials every now and then, her Pocky commercials being the most popular ones.
Just recently, Aragaki made her singing debut. The ballad called Memories , the theme song for her first lead role movie, Koisuru Madori, marked the beginning of her career as a singer. She will also release a song called “Heavenly Days” for the movie “Koizora”. It is confirmed that Aragaki will be releasing an album on December 5th, 2007 and will perform a debut performance in Budoukan. If this event pushes through, she would be the third song artist to debut in the said location. Aragaki’s situation where an album is to be released before a single is very rare to female idols like her.
Besides modeling, acting and singing, Aragaki occasionally hosts a segment in the radio show, SCHOOL OF LOCKS!. GIRLS LOCKS!, the segment where certain young female idols switch slots in hosting, is also hosted by the likes of Maki Horikita, Nana Eikura and Erika Toda.
She debuted as a singer after releasing her debut album “Sora” on December 5, 2007. The album features two songs, “Memories” and “heavenly days”, which she sang as theme songs for movies she starred in. She had her first live concert taken place at Nippon Budoukan on December 22, 2007. She will not participate in singing at the 58th Annual Kōhaku Uta Gassen, but she will attend as a guest judge along with actress Aoi Miyazaki and 9 people who took an active part in 2007.
On February 12, 2008, she was awarded the New Actor Award of the 50th Blue Ribbon award. She has already been awarded with 5 different new actor awards for starring in three movies in 2007 (Koisuru Madori, Waru Boro, and Koizora).
